WFCS 2021-22 SEASON REHEARSALS ARE DUE TO RECOMMENCE IN SEPTEMBER 2021 (restrictions permitting). If you are interested in joining the Society when it does reconvene, please contact our Membership Secretary meanwhile.
In general... Worcester Festival Choral Society (WFCS) usually has a few Tenor places available, but our numbers are usually full for Sopranos, Altos and Basses, with a waiting list.
We usually rehearse in Worcester Cathedral on Monday evenings between 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. from the start of September through to the end of March. (Please note that the main Cathedral door is locked in the evenings so Members enter the Cathedral via the Cloisters’ gate in College Green).
You can attend a few rehearsals to decide if you would like to join us, before having a short audition to determine your vocal range and sight-reading ability. You will not be expected to pay your subscription until after a successful audition.
Much more information including subscription rates, dress code etc can be found on our Members Page.
