The 150 voices of Worcester Festival Choral Society are delighted to announce the much-anticipated return of Ralph Vaughan Williams’s epic choral masterpiece, A Sea Symphony on Saturday 26 November 2022 – nearly three years after the Society’s planned 2020 performance of the same work had to be cancelled. Alongside A Sea Symphony will be another, truly beautiful sea-themed composition: Frederick Delius’s Sea Drift.
Complemented by the magnificent setting of Worcester Cathedral, this exceptional choral concert will also feature acclaimed soloists and the superb Meridian Sinfonia orchestra, all under the baton of Worcester Cathedral's director of music Samuel Hudson.
Soloists:
Sarah Fox - soprano
Andrew Mayor - Bass Baritone
Tickets available from our online Box Office from September.
