Announcing our NEW Hallelujah! Young Singers Opportunity

SCHOOLS! An unmissable chance for Year 8+ students to sing in some of the most exciting moments of Messiah, including the famous ‘Hallelujah’ chorus!

Worcester Festival Choral Society is proud to announce a NEW scheme for 2026 offering young singers a magnificent cathedral concert experience they will never forget.

This exciting, accessible and inclusive opportunity enables Year 8+ students (and their teachers) to join the 140-strong WFCS chorus to sing some of the greatest chorus numbers in Handel’s famous Messiah in concert at Worcester Cathedral, on Saturday 12 December 2026.

How it works:

  • Accessible and inclusive scheme
  • Schools form a group of students & teachers
  • Vocal scores/support provided
  • In-school teaching/learning programme to sing up to 6 choruses
  • Attend WFCS rehearsal in advance and on concert day at Worcester Cathedral (Saturday 12 December 2026)
  • Enjoy a birds-eye view of the orchestra and artists
  • Experience the thrill of performing with professional musicians to a full house
  • No cost to take part
